Movana was born from a simple belief: movement is essential to how children grow — physically, emotionally, and mentally.

The name Movana comes from two roots:

“Mov”, meaning movement, and “Vana”, meaning forest in Sanskrit — together representing natural, free movement, just as children are meant to experience it.

My name is Priya, and I’m a mum to two beautiful children — my three-year-old daughter Saanvi and my one-year-old son Shivansh.

Saanvi is a sensory-seeking child — full of energy, curiosity, and confidence when her body is moving. She thrives when she runs, jumps, climbs, and explores. We noticed early on that movement wasn’t just play for her — it was how she regulated, learned, and felt her best.

At home, she loved using a Swedish ladder, but there was always a limitation. She felt scared climbing higher bars, and I could see that hesitation holding her back. Like many active children, she also started climbing everywhere — kitchen slabs included (which, honestly, was both impressive and terrifying 😄).

That’s when the idea for Movana truly took shape.

When we introduced the Movana climbing frame, something changed. Because it’s low, stable, and designed with children in mind, Saanvi felt confident climbing without fear. What once felt risky suddenly felt safe — and empowering. She began climbing more freely, independently, and with joy.

Even Shivansh, at just one and a half, is drawn to it — always under close supervision, of course. Watching both of them use the same frame at different stages made it clear: this wasn’t just a toy. It was a tool that grows with children.

Movana is a small, mission-led brand created to bring purposeful, screen-free movement back into everyday homes. Our climbing frames are designed to support how children naturally develop — strengthening their bodies while also supporting healthy brain development through climbing, hanging, and cross-body movement.
